🔐 Accounts & Security
Yes. Salmart is built with secure authentication, verified payments, and protected messaging. We don’t tolerate scams, and we’re putting extra steps in place to protect both buyers and sellers.
You can browse freely, but to buy, sell, or chat, you'll need an account. Creating one is simple and free.
💳 Payments
Buyers pay directly on Salmart through our secure Paystack integration. Funds are held safely until the buyer confirms delivery.
Yes — a small commission is taken from the seller’s payout after the buyer confirms delivery. This supports platform maintenance and security.
📦 Delivery & Deals
Not directly. Sellers and buyers arrange delivery themselves, but Salmart protects payments until delivery is confirmed.
On your Deals page, click Confirm Delivery once you’ve received the product in good condition. This releases funds to the seller.
🛠 Platform Features
It’s a feature under development that allows buyers to make price offers automatically — no back-and-forth chats needed.
Yes, you can. We provide an Edit Post button that redirects you to the original post form.
Yes! You can chat with sellers using our real-time chat feature — just like WhatsApp, but with built-in safety.
